why this page exists

The pool is the scale. Publishing it is the difference between a number you can argue with and a number you have to trust, and it is the only way to see what the dial is actually made of.

These are percentiles among this pool, not a probability that anyone's posts were machine-written — there is no such measurement here, and Bluesky posts are far too short for one.
